This text explains how Shoppa AB handles your personal data and which rights you have regarding this data. The information is relevant if you:

  • Are one of our customers.
  • Visit our website or our social media platforms.
  • Take part in our events or seminars.
  • Communicate with us through other means, e.g. through our support.

 

Your personal integrity is important to us, which is why we handle your personal data in a safe and secure manner, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data is any information that directly or indirectly can be connected to you, e.g. your name, picture, IP address, phone number, title and email address.

In this section we explain how your personal data is used to bring you important information and relevant offers.

3.1 When you are one of our customers

When you sign an agreement with us, we process the following information:

  • Your email-address
  • Your field of work
  • Your phone number
  • Company information e.g. company registration number, address and mailing address

 

We process your personal data in order to:

  • Handle and deliver the products you bought from us.
  • Administer payments, e.g. issuing invoices.
  • Relay important information about our products and services, e.g. service disruptions and new releases.

Lawful basis for processing: We process your personal data on the basis that it is necessary for completion of agreement in the case where we provide you with a service or product, or that it is a legitimate interest when we relay important information and market our products, services and events.

Data retention: We will store your personal data for as long as you are one of our customers. Should our business relationship end, we will store your personal data for up to three years after written termination.

3.2 When you participate in marketing events and/or customer surveys

In connection with marketing events (lectures, seminars, etc.) or customer surveys (questionnaires) we will process the data you give us, including name and contact information.

We process your personal data in order to:

  • Administer the marketing event or customer survey, including sending you feedback.
  • Creating articles and other content for publication on our website and our social media accounts.
  • Inform you about new marketing events and customer surveys.
  • Collect statistics from marketing events and customer surveys, for the purpose of improving our products and services.

 

Lawful basis for processing: We process your personal data for your and our legitimate interest, as described above and as necessary for completion of agreement when administrating contests. If our event requires your consent, we will obtain such consent before the start of the event.

Data retention: We will store your personal data for up to three years after the completion of the event and/or survey.

3.3 When you communicate with us

You can communicate with Shoppa through social media, phone and email. When you communicate with us, we process information that you provide, e.g.:

  • Name and contact details
  • Information about your question or issue

 

We process your personal data in order to:

  • Answer your question and/or solve your issue.
  • Improve our products and services.
  • Analyze support issues in order to improve our service.

In addition to the cases described above we will sometimes process your personal data when required by law, e.g. because of accounting obligations.

Lawful basis for processing: When we process your personal data because we are required by law it is justified as a legal obligation.

4. For how long will we store your personal data?

5. With whom do we share your personal data?

Shoppa might share your personal data with the following kind of recipients:

  • Subcontractors who provide IT- and installation services
  • Contractual partners
  • Other recipients as required by law, other ordinances or regulatory decisions

 

Recipients who handle personal data on behalf of Shoppa shall always enter into a so called Data Processing Agreement with Shoppa, in order to ensure that your information is handled in a safe and correct manner.

6. How do we protect your personal data?

Your integrity is important to us. We protect your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, as well as our own established guidelines for information security. This means that we have rules and routines regarding information safety.

7. About cookies

When you visit our website we may also collect information and data about you, through the use of so called “cookies”.
