Jula has invested in new signage software from Shoppa as part of its strategy to build a better, more effective platform for its in-store communication. With the new platform, the department chain intends to improve the customer experience and simplify signage activities in its stores.
Jula is a fast-growing, family-owned department store group that sells products to DIY’ers and professionals alike. The company has grown considerably since it opened its first department store in Skara in the early 1980s. In 2008 Jula was established in Norway and in 2011 in Poland. Today, the company operates a total of 90 department stores – and its expansion continues.
“It was important for Jula to find signage software that could combine physical and digital signage in a single platform, both to improve the customer experience and to facilitate managing signs and promotions. Shoppa’s signage software is a complete solution that can handle all our requirements, and is a flexible solution that we can customise for the company’s requirements and preferences,” says Jonas Järrenfors, Jula’s marketing director.
For Jula and its employees, this means that they are now abandoning their proprietary system. With Shoppas’s signage software, they are creating an improved, more efficient management of their signs in the stores. Jula also obtains a common portal for its in-store communication.
Shoppa’s signage software will be integrated with Jula’s iCore platform, and there are plans for integration with the new PDAs in its stores. “It’s a privilege to be chosen as a partner for Jula, one of the best managed and fastest growing companies in the Nordic region. This partnership confirms Shoppa’s leading position in signage software,” says Thomas Nordqvist, CEO of Shoppa.
